EX safety sensors are used to monitor the position of sliding, swivelling or removable protectors. For security functions according to DIN VDE 0660-209, the devices must only be used with a PL “e” protection door monitoring module according to EN ISO 13849-1 or up to SILCL 3 in accordance with EN 62061.
