Ex HS Si 4

The ATEX certified Ex HS Si4 (magnetic) aperture detector can detect door or valve opening in a hazardous area (ATEX zone 1, 2, and 21, 22). When the coded magnet is approached to the detector, the contact switches.

Ex RC Si M30

The ATEX certified RC Si M30 (magnetic) safety sensor is designed to detect the opening of swivel doors in Area Ex 1, 21. When the coded magnet is approached to the detector, the contact switches.


EEx RC If 56

The Ex rated RC Si56 (magnetic) opening detector is used to detect the opening of a door or flap in a hazardous area (ATEX area 1, 2, and 21, 22). When the coded magnet is approached to the detector, the contact switches.

Ex STM 295

The Ex STM 295 interlock lock prevents a door or valve from opening in an ATEX area. Two versions available: for zone 1, 21 and for zone 2, 22.

The ATEX certified AZM 415 magnetic interlocking lock prevents the opening of a door or a flap in a hazardous area. Two versions available: locking by power failure or by powering up.

EX STM 298

The Ex STM 298 magnetic interlock lock prevents the opening of an explosive atmopshère door or valve (zone 2, 22).

ATEX closure



The EXM electromagnet allows the door or valve to be closed in the event of a power failure. When the power of the Ex rated EXM electromagnet is cut, the force of attraction no longer has an effect and safety is ensured.

Motion sensors

Ex-Mo is a microwave motion sensor using the original Doppler principle, designed and certified to work in environments in hazardous areas 1, 2 and 21, 22.

Application domains

Security sensors:

EX safety sensors are used to monitor the position of sliding, swivelling or removable protectors.

The use of EX safety sensors is particularly advantageous in highly clogged environments, or when high hygiene conditions are to be met, due to their ease of maintenance. Another advantage is the possibility of a hidden assembly behind amagnetic materials.

The layout of work surfaces and storage areas can be done without edges that can hold dirt and without other cuts and protrusions necessary for operation. EX security sensors are also used for applications where an exact approach is not possible and require greater tolerances.


Interlocking devices

EX safety interlock devices ensure that sliding, swivelling or removable protectors such as grilles, hoods or doors cannot be opened until risky situations (e.g. inertia movements) are completed. This is done in coordination with the technical part of the control of a machine. Stop controllers or timed security relays monitor inertia or time sequences. These security interlock devices are also used where the opening of a protector exhibits an unauthorized intrusion into production processes.

Combined with door monitoring modules, EX safety interlock devices reach SIL 3 in accordance with EN 62061 or PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1 with proper monitoring system and correct wiring.
