Find our solutions to discharge static electricity safely in explosive atmospheres. ATEX earthing devices that perfectly meet the requirements of European and international standards.
8146/5075
ATEX earthing tester available in two versions for drums and tank containers used in areas at risk of explosion (emanation of gas, vapors and mists).
8485
Series 8485 ATEX Grounding Clamp is designed to safely discharge static electricity in potentially explosive areas (gases, vapors and mists).
7485
This ATEX electrostatic earthing range is renowned for its robustness and ease of use, particularly for loading tank trucks or rail vehicles.

Eliminate the risk
The most common causes of electrostatic charges in processing plants are charge transfers during the loading of tanks such as tank trucks, rail tank cars, drums, big bags or large bulk containers (IBCs). Electrostatic discharge can cause a spark which could ignite a flammable mixture of combustible gases and dust. It is therefore imperative to avoid any release into potentially explosive atmospheres. The priority is safe discharge of the electrostatic charge via equipotential bonding or earthing.
Protect and Monitor
In mobile tanks, establishing and monitoring this connection is increasingly supported by ground monitoring devices. In the critical load sector, the connections are subjected to very high mechanical stresses which can lead to cuts. Ground monitoring devices are capable of detecting insufficient deviation, signaling it to the user and stopping the load if necessary.
